What is the knowITgetIT program?

• knowITgetIT offers the most cutting edge content in technology, aimed at providing students cutting edge technology skills, starting with a focus in AI.

What does this program entail?

• The program consists of a 1 month, self-guided learning journey with the rest of the knowITgetIT cohort. Students have the opportunity to enroll in one of the four Advanced Tech Courses: Supervised Learning,Convolutional Neural Networks, Building a Reproducible Model Workflow, Management of Relational and Non-relational Databases.

How can I benefit from this program?

• Students will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects designed by industry experts to build their portfolio of skills, and learn core skill sets to prepare them for a career in a job of the future.

How does the learner journey look like as part of this program?

• The knowITgetIT advanced tech courses program consists of a 1 month, self-guided learning journey with the rest of the knowITgetIT cohort. Students have the opportunity to enroll in one of four Advanced Tech Courses: Supervised Learning,Convolutional Neural Networks, Building a Reproducible Model Workflow, Management of Relational and Non-relational Databases. Throughout your entire learning journey you will have access to an online community platform, where you will get to ask other students for support or even to network with your peers.

What are the eligibility criteria to enroll?

Applicants for the first phase must meet the following criteria:

• Singaporean permanent resident or national.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Meet the technical requirements required for the relevant Course.
• Must be committed to the timeframes of the program.

Are there any fees for enrollment?

• Singaporean citizens and permanent residents have the opportunity to apply for the SkillsFuture SG subsidy and receive up to 90% subsidy.

When does the program start ?

• The program will launch on Oct 16, 2023. Learners will be invited to join a live webinar "Kickoff" event to cover the details of the program and join a cohort with their peers to start their Nanodegree that day.

How will you contact me?

•  We will contact with you via email. So, please make sure to check your e-mail frequently and you will need to use one email for everything during the program. And make sure to check your spam folder to see if you received emails from our side.

 Can I change the email address that I have used to sign-up?

• You should maintain the same email address you used to apply for the knowITgetIT program for the duration of your entire course in order to maintain eligibility for this program.

Is this program online, in-person, or combination of both?

• This is a fully online program. Throughout the cohort, students get to learn through online videos in their classroom and interact with peers on their community platform. Students will receive detailed reviews on project submissions by tutors to support them successfully complete the project and graduate from the course.

 Will I have access to the material even after my Program ends?

• Yes! Successful graduates of our Course are eligible to keep curriculum access. Please note however, that students who leave the program—or who are removed from the program—prior to successfully graduating, will cease to have access.

How many hours a week should I expect to spend on my coursework, in order to finish Phase 1 on time?

• Students are recommended to allocate 10-15 hours a week learning.

What are the prerequisites for enrollment?

To be eligible for the Advanced Tech Courses you should have successfully graduated from the prerequisite Nanodegree offered by Udacity:

• Supervised Learning -> Successfully graduated from AI Programming with Python offered by Udacity.
• Convolutional Neural Networks -> Successfully graduated from Intro to Machine Learning or Machine Learning offered by Udacity.
• Building a Reproducible Model Workflow -> Successfully graduated from Intro to Machine Learning or Machine Learning offered by Udacity.
• Management of Relational and Non-relational Databases -> Successfully graduated from Business Analytics offered by Udacity.
• If you have the interest and prior knowledge but have not graduated from any of the Udacity Nanodegrees, you still have the opportunity to submit your interest and we will reach out to you for further details.

Can I withdraw/postpone studying after I am enrolled?

•  There are no withdrawal or postponing options after you are enrolled in any of the phases. You should only join this program if you are committed to learning and graduating within the defined timeline of the program.

How can I apply for the SkillsFuture Subsidy?

• Students are eligible to apply for a SkillsFuture subsidy and receive up to 90% subsidy for the program fee. Deadline to apply is till Sep 17, 2023, all accepted students must register on this link in order to keep their enrollment active. Click here to find out more.
