FWD Program - Applications FAQs When do applications open? For the Challenge level, you will be able to self-enroll and start your learning journey at any time. There are no applications for this level. However, for the Professional, Advanced, and Cross-skilling levels, applications open on the 15th of every month. To enroll/apply, please visit our website. Are there any fees I should pay to apply? No, there are no fees required. Is there any age limitation for this program Kindly note that the scholarship is available for applicants who are at least 18 years of age or above. What is the difference between a level and a course? The level is the path you choose for your journey and it reflects the level of advancement of the technical content. The levels currently are Challenge, Professional, Advanced, and Cross-skilling. A course is the field you choose to study inside your level. The courses currently available are Web, Data, Digital Marketing, Machine Learning, React, Frontend & Performance Testing, AWS Cloud DevOps and UX. I was previously enrolled in a track, but was unenrolled / did not graduate. Can I apply for another track? Students who were previously enrolled in a track, but did not graduate are not eligible to apply for another track. Can I apply for a different specialization within the same level? You may not apply for a different specialization at a level where you already graduated. Students may only complete one specialization in each level. Can I apply for a specialization at a level lower than the one I enrolled in/ graduated from? No, you may not apply for a specialization that is lower than the one you are currently enrolled in / graduated from. Can I apply if I am not Egyptian? Kindly note that this scholarship program is currently for Egyptian citizens only. What should I do when applying for the Professional/Advanced/Cross-skilling level and find the "save & submit" button not active? The "save & submit" button will be clickable when all sections of your application are completed as shown in the below screenshotIf any section is incomplete ( as in the below screenshot ), then please open that section and make sure you answered all the questions.We also recommend for the LinkedIn question to insert the URL of your profile instead of your name on LinkedIn. If you do not have a LinkedIn profile, please answer the question with " N/A ". Finally, to insert your CV, you can upload it on Google drive or dropbox and share the link as an answer to the question. If you don't have an CV, you can type "N/A". How do I know if my application was submitted successfully? After you click on the "save & submit" button, you will see the below message that indicates we received your application.Also, you will be able to view your application on your classroom homepage under "Applications" as shown below Do I need to upload my ID? With the new application process, no need to upload a link to your ID. All you need to do is to insert your ID number as requested. I can no longer find my application in my classroom, what should I do? No worries! When applications close they disappear from the classroom. This means that your application is now in the filtration phase. You will receive an update regarding your application within 5-7 weeks. I am trying to fill an application but I am getting "applications are not open", what should I do? This message appears when you are trying to apply through a link for a previous cohort. Applications open on the 16th of every month, so make sure you always apply through our website to apply for the new cohorts of the scholarship. How will I know if I am accepted? For the Challenge level, you will be able to start your learning journey once you self enroll. For the Professional, Advanced, and Cross-skilling levels, an email will be sent to you notifying you of an update on your application status. Can I delete/edit my application after submitting it? You can edit your application through your classroom as long as the deadline did not pass. However, please note that you can not delete your application. Can I enroll/apply for more than one course at the same time? For the Challenge level, you can enroll in multiple courses. For the Professional, Advanced, and Cross-skilling levels, you are not allowed to apply for multiple courses or multiple levels at the same time. You can apply for one course only per level at a time and apply for another course within a different advanced level when you complete the current level you have been accepted in. Can I apply for other levels while I did not graduate yet from my current level? If you are enrolled in the Challenge level and still did not complete it, you can apply for any of the other levels. However, if you are enrolled in any of the Professional, Advanced, or Cross-skilling levels, you need to graduate first from your current level and then apply for the other advanced level you desire for your application to be considered.
