Know IT Get IT FAQs - General + Applications What is the knowITgetIT Program? knowITgetIT offers the most cutting-edge content in technology, aimed at providing students with cutting-edge technology skills, starting with a focus on AI. What does this program entail? The program consists of a 3-month, self-guided learning journey with the rest of the knowITgetIT cohort. Students have the opportunity to enroll in one of two Nanodegree programs: AI Programming with Python or Business Analytics How can I benefit from this program? Students will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects designed by industry experts to build their portfolio of skills and learn core skill sets to prepare them for a career in a job of the future. What does the learner journey look like as part of this program? The knowITgetIT program consists of a 3-month, self-guided learning journey with the rest of the knowITgetIT cohort. Students have the opportunity to enroll in a Udacity Nanodegree program (click here to view all available tracks). Throughout your entire learning journey, you will have access to an online community platform, where you will get to ask other students and Session Leads for support to help you through any learning difficulties or even to network! What are the eligibility criteria to enroll? Applicants for the first phase must meet the following criteria: Singaporean permanent resident or national 18 years of age or older Meet the technical requirements required for the relevant Nanodegree Must be committed to the timeframes of the program Are there any fees for enrollment? Singaporean citizens and permanent residents have the opportunity to apply for the SkillsFuture SG subsidy and receive up to 90% subsidy. When does the program start? The program will launch on September 16, 2024. Learners will be invited to join a live webinar "Kickoff" event to cover the details of the program and join a cohort with their peers to start their Nanodegree that day. How will you contact me? We will contact you via email. So, please make sure to check your e-mail frequently and you will need to use one email for everything during the program. And make sure to check your spam folder to see if you received emails from our side. Can I change the email address that I have used to sign up? You should maintain the same email address you used to apply for the knowITgetIT program for the duration of your entire course in order to maintain eligibility for this program. Is this program online, in-person, or a combination of both? This is a fully online program with a live-virtual component. Throughout the cohort, students get to learn through online videos in their classroom and interact with peers, coaches, and instructors on their community platform. Students will also have a mandatory weekly virtual session led by a Udacity Session Lead to make sure they stay on track. You may also choose to meet with your community members and peers in person if you wish. Will I have access to the material even after my Nanodegree Program ends? Yes! Successful graduates of our Nanodegree programs are eligible to keep curriculum access. Please note, however, that students who leave the program—or who are removed from the program—prior to successfully graduating, will cease to have access. How many hours a week should I expect to spend on my coursework, in order to finish Phase 1 on time? Students are recommended to allocate 10-15 hours a week to learning, including their weekly connect sessions. What are the prerequisites for enrollment? Make sure to check each Nanodegree Program for its specific prerequisites. Can I withdraw/postpone studying after I am enrolled? There are no withdrawal or postponing options after you are enrolled in any of the phases. You should only join this program if you are committed to learning and graduating within the defined timeline of the program. How can I apply for the SkillsFuture Subsidy? Students are eligible to apply for a SkillsFuture subsidy and receive up to 90% subsidy for the program fee. Applications are currently closed, but you can fill in this form to be the first to know once a new cohort is launching. My payment isn't going through. Who can I contact?
