Kick-off Etiquette

What is the kick-off session?
Since we care about our student’s experience the most, We rocket launch your learning journey with a welcome session that should help you navigate your way to success and Graduation. 

Kindly note that this session is a one-time event that happens a few days after you receive your welcome email and attendance is mandatory. 

What to expect during the Kick-off session? 

The session is an introduction to the program where you get to know more details about the scholarship and the perks of being one of our selected students.

Please note that your microphone and camera are going to be turned off during the kick-off session for a better experience and effective listening for all attendees.

What is the etiquette of attending the kick-off?

Kindly note that events like kick-offs are considered big events according to the number of attendees so to maximize the benefits for all students we found that it’s important to share with our students some of the etiquettes of attending online events. 

Here are some : 

1- Arrive early

By arriving early, you can troubleshoot any problems with the meeting tool like testing the video, audio, and internet connections.  

2-Pay attention

The kick-off session is designed to answer any questions you might need to start learning or throughout your learning journey so most probably all your questions will be answered but you need to pay attention and wait till we cover all points mentioned in our agenda before asking questions in the Q&A section.
You might also need to check answered questions so you give room for unanswered questions to be addressed.  

3- Don’t abuse chat and/or the Q&A section 

Kindly note that the Q&A is there for you to ask urgent questions and we will either reply to you right away or answer your questions at the end of the session. Also, We will be posting important links in the chat. 

Kindly note that the Q&A section is your way to communicate with us and abusing it with greetings, commenting on some other student’s question, asking questions that are not mainly related to your journey with us might affect the quality of our communications with you and we might miss answering some important questions due to the flow.
